Ward was born at MonroeLouisianaon 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. Ward was a student at Ouachita high school in the parish for her secondary education. Then she transferred to River Oaks High School the summer following her junior year. After her graduation the school she attended was Northeast Louisiana University. In the year she turned thirteen, old Ward started modeling after leaving school, and then moving from Louisiana to New York in order to do so. Her acting career began just a couple of years later afterward. Her first role was an uncredited role in the 1970's soap-opera All My Children, and later was cast in an teen drama for NBC Prime Time Malibu Shores. Then, in late 1996Ward landed a role in the daytime soap opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, Ward began her film career playing Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic film The In Crowd. The film did not make money in theatres but it made a splash both on DVD and cable TV. Ward played a support role on the show Shallow Hal the following year. Alongside her direct-to-DVD role, Ward made many guest appearances in TV programs like Friends. She was a main cast member of ABC Family's drama series Make It or Break It during the initial two seasons in 2009. In 2009, she got the part Chloe Kmet as the mother of a teenage gymna. She married David C. Robinson, a producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.
